Kindle Publishing Journey – Marketing

I received my revised proof and I like it much better. Basically, I changed the color of the cover. However, I haven’t started my marketing campaign to promote the book on kindle. What am I waiting for, you might be wondering.

1. I need to decide if it will be KDP

2. Which book sites  I will offer the download for free, and doing what is required to participate on those sites

3. Identifying any appropriate Facebook Groups.

4. If my timing is right to test the sale on some other sites.

So, to help me I purchased some information on promotional strategy for kindle that has quite a few steps I didn’t have in my plan. I am also working to maximize my book description, and author page as well.

My goal for this week will be to finish my marketing strategy and implement by September 24th.

Kindle Publishing Journey

Today was an interesting day. I received the proof in the mail from Createspace. I like the book cover even more. I quickly compared the version from 12 years ago, with this new one, and WOW.  Thank goodness for technology.

Also, had the opportunity to participate in a webinar about Kindle. The persons leading the webinar were mostly setting the audience up to buy their product, of course. I knew that, but what was interesting is that some of the items covered are exactly what I am implementing in my own book launch.

Once I have completed the cycle, I will share my approach, which will make your implementation easier and close your learning curve.
